Five short walkthroughs that take you from a new account to a finished multi-shot ad. Looking for settings and reference detail instead? Check the Docs.

01

Set up your account

2 minutes, before anything else

  1. Go to Register and enter your email and a password (8+ characters) — or choose Continue with Google to skip the password entirely.
  2. If you registered with email, open the verification email Roma just sent you (check spam if it doesn't show up) and click the link. It's valid for 24 hours.
  3. Log in. A brand-new account starts with 0 credits, so head to Pricing and pick a plan or a credit pack.
  4. Complete payment by InstaPay or Wallet and upload your receipt. Your order is held for 60 minutes while it's reviewed.
ResultCredits land in your account and every generator unlocks.
02

Generate your first image

Under a minute once you have credits

  1. Open Image.
  2. Pick Text to Image (it's selected by default) and choose a vendor tab — FLUX and Nano Banana are good defaults to start with.
  3. Pick any model in that tab. Type a description of what you want in the prompt box — be specific about subject, setting, lighting and style.
  4. The composer shows the current price before you generate — check it, then click Generate.
  5. When it finishes, download the image or publish it to the community feed. It's also saved to your History either way.
ResultA generated image, plus a reusable prompt you can tweak and run again straight from History.
03

Generate your first video

A few minutes, most of it waiting on render

  1. Open Video.
  2. Choose your starting point: Text to Video for a prompt-only clip, or Image to Video if you already have a still you want to animate — upload it to the Start Frame slot.
  3. Pick a model (Kling and Seedance are common starting points), then set duration and any other settings the model offers — the price updates live as you change them.
  4. Click Generate. Video renders asynchronously, so you can leave the page — Roma keeps tracking the job and you'll see the result when it's ready.
ResultA rendered clip in your History. You're charged when the job is submitted, and refunded automatically if it fails.

Chain generations with Workflow

Turn one image into an animated clip without re-uploading anything

  1. Open Workflow. You'll land on an empty canvas.
  2. Right-click the canvas (or use the Add Node panel in the sidebar) and add an Image Gen node. Pick a text-to-image model and write your prompt directly on the node.
  3. Click that node's own Run button. Running a node charges and runs only that node, nothing else.
  4. Add a Video Gen node set to an image-to-video model. Drag a wire from the Image Gen node's output port to the Video Gen node's input port.
  5. Run the Video Gen node — it automatically picks up the image the first node just produced, no re-upload needed.
  6. Add an Output node and wire the video result into it to collect the final clip.
ResultAn image and a video generated from a single canvas, connected by real data instead of manual copy-paste — and the canvas autosaves as you go.

Make a multi-shot ad with Studio

One idea in, a finished multi-shot video out — needs an active Creator, Pro or Studio plan

  1. Open Studio and describe the video you want in one prompt — platform, tone, length, and what it's for. For example: “A 30-second luxury car commercial for Instagram, cinematic, night in Cairo.”
  2. Review the Brief Roma generates. Adjust platform, aspect ratio, duration, shot count, language and audio (music, voiceover, both or none) if you want something different from what it guessed. A rough credit estimate sits right under the brief.
  3. Optionally add reference Elements — upload or generate a product shot or character reference before Roma builds the storyboard.
  4. Roma breaks your brief into a Storyboard of individual shots.
  5. Review the Confirm generation dialog — it lists every shot, the model chosen for it, and its price — then approve to generate. You can run one shot at a time or several together.
  6. Once your shots are ready, hit Assemble. Voiceover lines and sound-effect cues get their own quick editors here before the final stitch.
ResultA finished, multi-shot video assembled from shots you already reviewed and paid for — reopen the project from the Studio page any time to keep editing it.
